600mm (2 foot) x 600mm x 40mm - Lightweight polystyrene terrain tile. This coastal section features a 40mm grassland rear edge (that can be used in conjunction with all of our other grassland tiles) which then slopes down through sand dunes and then onto a beach and ends with a breaking waterline at the seas edge. Each of these tiles are hand sculpted with exquisitely detailed sand dunes painted in shades of browns and yellows to give a realistic dry sand effect. The beach is then painted in slightly darker shades of brown and yellow to give the ultimate wet sand effect. The shaded grey/blue sea area culminate in actual sculpted breaking surf which is painted in lighter shades of blue/grey with a white foam effect. Each of these tiles can be used with other coastal tiles to form a large stretch of beach. This particular tile can be used in conjunction with our Estuary Tile to give your inland waterways a realistic delta.
